BoxPC PRO with V-by-One and eDP Interface – NPA-2009

The demand for higher resolution TFT displays is increasing and 4k is more and more replacing full HD. Because of the high bandwidth required, 4K displays are usually controlled via a V-By-One or eDP interface. However, until now, if you wanted to use a V-By-One display in combination with a BoxPC, you needed an additional adapter board. Our new BoxPC Pro NPA-2009 now solves this problem: V-by-One and eDP displays can be connected directly via its unique docking connector.

V-By-One has the additional advantage that it uses a cost-effective, standardized cable with good EMC values. The parallel operation of 2 TFT displays - one V-by-One and one eDP - is also possible. In addition, two USB 2.0 interfaces can be used to connect a USB touchscreen and another USB device, such as a webcam. With the BoxPC NPA-2009 all common V-By-One or eDP displays can thus be easily upgraded to a Panel PC.

The BoxPC Pro NPA-2009 is based on an industrial mainboard with Intel® Core™ i embedded processor i5-1145G7E of the 11th generation. On a project basis, it is also available with the Core™ i7-1185G7E or Celeron® 6305E processors. All Tiger Lake processors offer a high frame rate, low latency and economical power consumption even during 24/7 operation. The NPA-2009 operates fanless and contains no moving parts, which making it very robust and low-maintenance. Captive thumbscrews make it easy to mount and and a matching DIN rail kit for control cabinet installation is available as an option. Distec guarantees a long-term availability in form, fit and function of at least 5 years for the NPA-2009.

The NPA-2009 is ideal for all applications that require high-resolution displays with a high image frequency and high color depth, such as information terminals, medical technology, transportation and many more.
