The Prisma-4k-Controller is specified for a temperature range of -20 to +60°C and is equipped with a temperature sensor. At a temperature below -20°C the controller switches on the backlight one minute before the TFT display to reach the necessary operating temperature. At outside temperatures above -20°C, the backlight and TFT are switched on simultaneously. From 50°C case temperature, the TFT-controller halves the screen brightness and activates a fan signal so that the target temperature of 60°C is not exceeded.
Via an integrated brightness sensor, the Prisma-4K-Advanced also regulates the display brightness to match the ambient brightness. This ensures a perfect and glare-free readable display at all times while optimizing power consumption. With a wide viewing angle of 89° from all directions, the display easily delivers a true color image even when viewed from the side.
