The IB838 can be used as a plug-and-play solution due to its intelligent power supply functions and its wide input voltage rangeof 9V~36V DC, as it can be powered from most common power supplies. The IB838 is specifically designed to cope with different voltages that can occur in logistics and transportation applications.
A variety of interfaces make it particularly suitable for automation applications and data acquisition systems. The SBC controls diplays via Type-C, DP++ and eDP or LVDS and offers a variety of I/O interfaces, including two Intel® PCI-E 2.5G LAN ports, two USB 2.0 ports and four USB 3.2 ports, 1x Type-C and 3x Type-A.
The 5G-capable IB838 is equipped with a high-speed SATA III port and two CNVi supported M.2 sockets, E-Key and B-Key, providing ample storage and expansion options. In addition, there are four serial ports and a digital I/O, which enable fast and versatile connection of various peripheral devices. To increase security and functionality, fTPM (firmware-based Trusted Platform Module) and a watchdog timer are integrated to ensure system stability.
