The Component Obsolescence Group Germany (COGD) aims to minimize or prevent the impact of component unavailability. As a member of COGD and in the interests of sustainability, we ensure that our high-tech components and complete products have compatible and equivalent successors whenever possible. In an industry where manufacturers sometimes replace components with non-compatible successors within just six months, we stand out with products featuring exceptional long-term availability.

A good example is our in-house-developed Prisma TFT Controller Boards, which have remained compatible in form and function for over 20 years and across various versions. We also pay close attention to the long-term availability of products when selecting our partners.

Some TFT display models from AUO, Kyocera, and Tianma have been available for more than 15 years. The guaranteed long-term availability is at least 5 - 7 years.

Our embedded product range also offers long-term available solutions. For instance, the Congatec conga-SMX8-Plus is available until 2035. After that a compatible successor will be provided.
