Touch controller programming

In many applications, touch screens face enormous challenges. They have to be able to withstand moisture, dirt and vandalism and also must be easily operated with thick gloves. Our engineers are specialists in touch controller programming and ensure that the touchscreen works perfectly even under the most difficult conditions. Do you have a project with a challenging touch application? We look forward to finding a solution for you.

As an example, we have created a video in which we operate a DITO touch sensor with a 4mm thick PMMA protective screen with different gloves and under the direct influence of water. Even with a combination of an industrial standard glove and a chain glove, the touch works flawlessly and does not show any false triggers despite wetness. The controller is programmed in such a way that the water droplets are exactly differentiated from the actual touch process.
