The compact display with WVGA resolution (800x480) features a brightness of 400cd/m² and is equipped with a long life LED backlight with a lifetime of 100,000 hours. This corresponds to a period of more than 11 years of continuous operation until reaching half the brightness.
Ortustech has specified the rugged display for vibration up to 6.8G to withstand the harsh environmental conditions of mobile applications such as in industrial, agricultural or construction areas.
On request, we bond a touch screen and / or a cover glass on the display with our VacuBond optical bonding process. A cover glass protects the display surface from scratches, prevents the ingress of dirt and allows for easy cleaning with conventional cleaning agents. The optical gel that we use for bonding additionally stabilizes the unit, absorbs shocks and increases its robustness once more.
